The (Sexy) Dream Thread!

The Spider-Man dream I had a little while ago was totally rad, dude! A seamless webslingin' ride through a city. Until I got trapped in a building with Venom on the Avengers for some reason and out to get me.

The one I had last night, I wouldn't quite call a lucid dream, but I was constantly thinking about when I would wake up and where I would go to next. Every 5 seconds I either transported to another area or "woke up" - frequently skipping through tunnels or a series of flashing lights to transition between the locales. It felt like I had just woken up or was about to wake up several times, or that I had woken up and had sat up while I was still asleep. Weird feeling but not a panic, just along for the ride.

Back in high school but the layout changed. I couldn't get up to my locker on the 3rd floor because it was more like a maze, it wasn't just 1 elevator or staircase to get up there. Other rooms were different, like one was covered in black foam. The library was wide open with a ceiling several stories up, and a xylophone staircase but it ended halfway down so I couldn't use it. I ended up going to the auditorium and watching a movie about a guy who attacked people in the same auditorium. Then it was off to next class but my left foot was only going 1/2 as fast for some reason. Like whenever I lifted it, time slowed down for me.

1. I was in this really bright city where everything was different shades of white, except for some darker grey drones that were after me so I was basically moving around to get away from them. Everything was abandoned so I'm just parkouring over everything.

2. Mario level where I was also being pursued by one of my crazy haters, embodied by a goomba. I flew up past a giant bowser statue into a casino and back offices. Then I played a sonic multiplayer game where your team had to platform across the underside of an airship and beat Eggman.

3. Video game set in a factory with these fat crowbar-wielding dudes who were tough to beat. There was also a SWAT team on the final portion which you couldn't beat so you had to hide from them and sneak out the right exit.

4. Back to college and my door was coin-operated but wouldn't lock after I opened it. My room was next to a big stage. Kenan Thompson was my roommate.

My notes here tell me that I had another dream that I'm now happy to share with you. I went around to a couple dimly-lit shady guys in some decrepit buildings in order to make a bank deposit. One of them was in a basement, black and white alternating square floor tiles that are all dirty. Another bank was this guy in a big hole in the side of a hill. It was around this time I discover that I'm in Afghanistan and the terrorists are pushing on the side of a fence like in Day of the Dead. I run to my formula 1 vehicle to evacuate and transform into Sonic. The way out is down the road running along the side of the fence, but I was able to drive off before anyone shot me or anything. Unfortunately I went the wrong way and the road ended in a straight-up 90 degree angle. Also I clipped the vehicle on the corner of a building and got it stuck, stepped on the gas and wiggled my way out, but at the expense of everything in my gas meter so I had to get out. Luckily I was Sonic so I ran outta there the other way faster than if I had been in the car.

1. There were sounds coming from my sister's old room so I investigated and found out there was a false wall behind the closet. Uncle Phil was in a secret room back there listening to the radio and he said 'great, now you know the secret' and I said I would've found out anyway because the rest of it was open-air and could be seen from the outside. Then we planned to go on vacation and I packed up a bunch of stuff to read but nothing else, no clothes no nothing. It was my 8th grade class trip and we met at the restaurant to eat before we left. I couldn't close the suitcase and needed to go back home anyway to pack for real. It felt like this really long trip but I had only been sleeping for an hour. We ended up going to a museum and I couldn't touch any of the old pots or ninjas would swoop in and fight you. Then my mom came in and said she was sick so I was like nooo covid but she said it was just a normal cold but I didn't care cuz I didn't wanna get sick anyway gtfo of my dream mom

2. I drove to the mall at night and thought I was lost but then checked the GPS and it said keep heading in a straight line. This meant a ramp straight into the mall from the sky. I bailed out of the car and smashed through the skylight. I then met Steve Martin in the elevator and told some joke about how it wasn't as fun to enter the mall from 3 stories up. He laughed and I asked him if he ever said that joke before, he said no and launched into this serious comedy theory about how it doesn't fit his character and was more suitable for others and so on. I end up at some outdoor meeting where they have a putting green and I'm chipping some balls onto the green. I'm actually a secret agent there to find out the evil plot of the group. I open a drawer and pull out these really old pocket-sized books that are flaking and falling apart, so I have to find 1 that has most of its pages intact. I go inside the rich guy's house and he has this big sonic rug. Then I find out there was another detective spying on the meeting because I walk in on him talking into his recorder about leads, but he doesn't notice me.

3. Had a dream about Nightmare on Elm Street. It was in a white mansion with big columns and people were getting picked off. Freddy visited me and rubbed his claws on my face from behind (not metal ones, big gross skin claws). Another Freddy appears in a vision and tells him not to kill me, instead there will be 7 Freddys total over the week and each one will team up and be smarter, more evil than the last one. There was also this path that led down to a lake but it had this big evil dude who looked like a huge lumberjack and he'd try to kill you too (not a dream). Part of his arm was burned off when someone lit it on fire to get away from him. I went out on the mansion balcony and asked somebody there, what should we do? He asks me if I thought about getting a job at McDonalds. I said wtf why would I do that when the lumberjack is out there? We could hide out in the mansion but it wasn't foolproof (the lumberjack could toss an axe up at us when we're on the balcony). Then everyone met in the conference room for a speech from Biden but he was totally useless, said nothing about stopping the monster, mixed his powerpoint slides up with porn photos, and spent the whole speech mumbling about how he takes his pants off at the end of the day and can't remember what was in his pockets. So he showed photos of what he found in his pockets and just kept saying "I don't know what this is, I don't know where I got this..." etc.

4. I went to a college orientation and was walking around outside at night when the school went into lockdown. Some shooter who wasn't around us but everyone who got the text immediately panicked and ran around screaming. I got lost on the way back to my room so I ended up walking down a rural road with a couple dimly-lit buildings in the distance. I talked to myself for a while and felt like I had been here before in a previous dream, and this was when I realized I was in a dream and had a lucid experience. Wasn't as long as the last time this happened since I was asleep for about 3 hours, but I still got to have some fun.
