Jake, not content with his role (or lack thereof) in the story, was mulling about at home.
The phone rang. Who could that be? He thought. Nobody ever called him or wrote about him anymore. He picked it up.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! AHHH! AHHHH. AHHHHH"
"Hello? Who is this? Is that you Tails?"
"AHHHTHEYSIIIIIIWIIIIPEDMEAUUUUUGHHHHH"
"Calm down man, where are you?"
"I WaZOn a BRiDge,MInd'IN MY OWN BUSNeSS WHEN-E CAME AND, AND, AND, AND AHHHHHHH!"
"Calm down bro I can't understand half of what you're saying. Tails? Tails??"

TaiIs82 slinked away from the phone booth and wandered the streets. He looked appropriately disheveled. It had only been a few hours but he had already grown a considerable beard. He found himself inside a donut shop.
"I'll have a donut. Extra sprinkles!"
"Sir, I don't think I can serve you in the state you're in."
"Why's that, huh? Do I offend you or something? Seems that's ALL I CAN DO NOWADAYS!" he yelled out the window at nobody.
"Hey man, wtf is the matter with you?"
"I HAVE NO SIG!" TaiIs shouted. "BECAUSE A SHE-DEVIL STOLE IT!"
TaiIs whipped out his 3ds to go on laharls_board. He noticed something was wrong. Very wrong. The PMs were piling up. The story topic had something new in it, but he didn't remember writing anything for it for a long time now. TaiIs started with the PMs first.
The first message at the top said it all. "WHERE ARE YOU? GM IS GOING TO USURP YOUR SPOT"
"What? No! I gotta get back to town before he messes everything up! 82 legion, assemble!"
They all assembled.
"I need you guys back man. I've lost control of my life."
"Why should I come back to you, human?" Brandon asked. "You abandoned me, so why shouldn't I leave you behind?"
"Because something bad is going to happen. GM wants to run things!"
"GM!? Say no more," Brandon growled.
Tails82 was nearby sipping root beer.
"Why should I trifle myself with your affairs, TaiIs? Get tied up with someone like you and we all risk getting axed."
"Hey I take the mods for you, man! Without me you'd be nothing! It's time for you to do some work in return."
Tails nodded. "I want pretzels."
"Fine."
Ninetails was there too but he didn't need persuading because he liked to go wherever the action is.
TaiIs burst into the topic with his alts. "This will not stand GM! This is my story, and I'm going to continue it!"
GM was unfazed. "You're not using it so it was my turn to write a better story."
"Psh, I can do way better than that."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, and in ten. Seconds. Flat."
"Prove it."
The two fought for supremacy.

The line went dead. Nitro put the phone down and looked at furries.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa" Tails hopped up and put his arm around Super Early's shoulder. "Easy there, big fella. I need to flex my muscles first. I need to reread the story. I need to write the darned thing. You are way early and I don't like it." "This is May 1st isn't it? That's when you said!" "Yep and nop. I said 10. There's a zero after that 1." "xd I did it again," Super Early dropped to the floor. "I'm in such a rush to get places, I arrive there way before anyone else...except you're here. Why's that?" "Because I wanna be as fast as Sonic and I been trainin. Why's Ally here?" "Because I AM FROM THE FUTURE  " "What is Renegade doing here? I don't get that question much, because I'm not seen much.""Ok I guess that settles it. Now we play the waiting game for the rest." Super Early jumped on Tails after an Ally push. "Since I'm early we can talk about the plot and reveal stuff early! I'll ask the questions and you answer!" "Uhh ok, what did you want to ask?" "Will Nitro have a more important role?" "Uhh hmm maybe I dunno...maybe the most important role of all. Maybe not." "Will GM be a villain again?" "Uhh hmm yes. Or no, depending on how you look at it - wait, forget that, that's relativist talk. He's definitely a villain." "Who will Brandon screw?" "Uhh hmm everyone. No not really. Espeon. No not really." "Why are you doing this again?" "Uhh hmm because time has passed and there have been new things and new ideas. And I finish what I start. But I don't know what the finish will be. I don't know what the start will be...until I write it." "Who am I and how did I get here?" "Uhh hmm you are Super Early and I think you're just someone else. Probably one of Jen Neth's transformations." "Jen can transform? How?" "Uhh hmm I'd rather not say." "Tellmetellme" "No it's naughty" "You mean like this? Or this? Or-" Super Early came super early and Tails was like eww Prinny Mask drops in for a surprise story inspection. "Your structure is very weak but acceptable under intergalactic codes. Proceed." Tails said ok and wondered what to do next. "Hey, I know! Ten days of prayer!" |

Dude, I don't think you even know how close you got with that Prinny Mask line.
He mostly deals with building structure, though. Reform!
