Tails good things
1) pro-business top 5% largest agricultural sector top 5% arms manufacturing sector top 5% largest automobile manufacturing sector top 5% largest basket weaving sector top 10% largest cheese export sector top 5% largest trout fishing sector top 5% largest furniture restoration industry top 5% largest insurance industry top 10% largest manufacturing sector top 5% largest mining sector top 5% largest pizza delivery sector top 10% largest publishing industry top 5% largest retail sector top 10% largest IT sector top 5% largest timber woodchipping industry Booming economy while Jen's has flatlined at zero. Publishing industry and IT sector indicates a demand for books and skilled labor.
2)top 5% most devout The most important thing for a functioning society. Evil must be kept at bay.
3)top 5% fattest citizens Our people have the money to afford lots of food and eat all the meat they want.
4)top 5% most armed This protects citizens from threats foreign and domestic. We must always be vigilant to make sure the godless light warriors never invade our free country.
5)top 1% largest overall tax burden I am very proud of this. Even with low taxes I have larger government budgets than shaoyuan and light warrior because businesses want to come here and create jobs. I am the supply side trickle down king.
6)top 10% most politically free Citizens don't have to deal with a constant stream of big spending, big taxing, oppressive, politically-correct government BS. Free speech is firmly protected. People freely practice their religion without being jailed. People drive cars and no bureaucrat is there to stop them. People eat meat because government has no right to butt in and tell them no. Plus it's delicious.
7)top 10% greatest rich-poor divides You will not find class envy at stars and-or stripes. Private property is firmly protected and honest hardworking people who have money get to decide what to do with it. The successful are rewarded, rather than being punished punished like in those backwards illogical thieving immoral socialist hellholes. Businesses invest when they are confident that the state isn't going to come in and nationalize everything. We do things by philanthropy, not force.
8)top 10% most politically apathetic I set out to have a nation where people don't really care about government since it's a non-entity and doesn't threaten them in any way. A free citizenry is a beautiful thing.
9)top 5% most avoided It's good that Jen's people want to stay out, I don't want them. This isn't a sinful destination for drunken tourists to have wild crazy sex orgies.
Tails bad things
1)top 5% shortest average lifespan I am soft on crime. If I put up cameras or installed a curfew, I'm sure things would improve. But that would be a waste of government resources and would enable a bureaucracy to threaten its own citizens. The proper laws are on the books, I keep police funding strong and urge private citizens to arm themselves. What's that? You say heart disease? None of the government's business. I don't run hospitals, private citizens do. If people want to give in to the vice of gluttony, it will lead to their ruin in good time. Also, this is an average. There's a large wealthy class which this doesn't apply to.
2)top 5% largest gambling industry Despite being outlawed, organized crime is still an issue. In a nation as wealthy and prosperous as mine it was bound to attract some scoundrels. The solution is more cops and more crackdowns, but ns options are woefully silly in this area. I do what I can.
3)top 1% stupidest citizens I have no idea what metrics they're using to determine this. I'm sure it's retarded though and just some slanderous study to undermine confidence in my successful government.
Jen good things:
1)top 10% healthiest citizens Although this appears to be done by mandate. I wouldn't be surprised if eugenics were in play, or death panels to get rid of the undesirables. We simply don't know but I will count health as a good thing in itself.
2)top 10% largest average lifespans For those who survive to birth, or want to stay around when they're old, anyway.
3)top 10% smartest citizens Who knows what this is judged by, certainly not business skills.
4)top 10% least corrupt governments However, note "least corrupt" does not mean "good"
Jen bad things:
1)top 10% most eco-friendly governments This is really holding back business and taking away individual liberties. Economy will remain at zero as long as Jen stays on this course.
2)meaningless fluff top 10% most beautiful environments easter egg top 10% best weather Government can't control the weather.
3)top 10% most godforsaken Full of evil people I wouldn't trust with my life.
4)top 10% most dedicated public healthcare High taxes and less free market.
5)top 10% most liberal Again, full of evil people.
6)top 10% most pacifist Defenseless and would've succumbed to foreign forces by now in real life. Let's be honest, this nation is screwed and only continues in dreamland.
7)top 5% most popular tourist destinations When people have money to spend they go to other places. My citizens have money to spend, allowing them to travel. Canada got tourists because US citizens got more bang for their buck over there. US clearly being superior. This is even more distinct when you look at our exchange rates and how much yours sucks compared to mine.

You enjoy your death and 'success', we'll enjoy our life and environment. >_>
Funny that you wouldn't trust my guys with your life, you must be part of that 1% smart enough to have enough money to afford a doctor over on your side of the fence. But hey, who's to stop the doctor from just letting you die and taking all your money? You encourage your citizens to arm and defend themselves, after all. Or are the police privately owned as well, and only the rich need not fear such things? >_>
I do see what you mean, though, without any need for money my people do tend not to gun each other down in the streets for it. We should stop making sure every need is taken care of, then people might get hungry and desperate enough to start violence, and then we can get a police force! Just think of all the JOBS that would create!

I veto any economic comparison while NS doesn't map public sector industry. On social paradigms the difference between Shaoyuan and Stars and or Stripes is clear.

As for stupidest citizens, that's what happens when you have no public education and an unskilled resource extraction/machining economy. You can enjoy your economic bubble while it lasts but at the end of the day us Soc-Dems are the ones who are living in prosperity and buying all your crap. I'll believe you when I start seeing anything of worth being made over there, but as it stands you're too afraid to develop since it might hurt the trees' feelings. Your citizens are government handout-dependent.

Hey, I told them they can drive when they find some clean energy for it. >_> As for unemployment, who cares? Look at my death pie chart. Look at yours. Back to mine. Who has malnourishment even listed? That's right, you, not me.

Heart disease>malnourishment
There are fat people and there are starving people. Inequality happens.

And then there are people that probably manage to starve to death while being obese simply because they're too stupid to realise you need food for the nutrients in them, not the triple beef patty and bacon weaves.

The Free Land of Stars and-or Stripes is a massive, economically powerful nation, remarkable for its anti-smoking policies. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 1.456 billion
It appears we have reached an impasse.

"The youth-related crime statistics in Shaoyuan are appalling," says police chief Stephanie Mistletoe.
What, that there is none and you're being laid off because you have nothing to do all day except play Solitaire? >_>

Maybe the government's not classifying crime as crime.
