news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101026/ap_on_re_us/us_bedbug_anxietyExperts have theorized that an increase in global travel and the banning of certain pesticides may be partly responsible for their spread.Thank you illegal immigrants and EPA. This goes well with my argument that cities are trash. But I have spoken enough on that. Who else is tired of hearing every scandal have the -gate suffix attached? Truly this is the worst part of Nixon's legacy that remains with us. Also, slow walkers. Walk faster. You're too slow. You and your stupid friend(s) not only block the hallway but rub it in my face the whole way by the fact that you have friends. Pros of organized sports: -You find out who the idiots are -Demonstration of herd mentality. One day I hope to take my child to a stadium and point out "look son/daughter, all these people cheering/booing at the dumbest things that have little impact on their lives. Much like ranting." Except I won't say that last part. "Back in the old days they used this energy to kill each other!" But we got violent video games now so no more gladiators. I guess that's some progress ^_^ But back to herd mentality. A few nights ago I watched that silly show Bill Maher has. My impressions? He had a panel of silly people, one of them some bald fat guy who laughed at everything too much. So they're talking on about silly things and the bald fat guy's like "you know, in this recession we've seen throughout history that in times of economic trouble people turn to a charismatic leader that ends up hurting them in the end" and I'm like yesss that is Obama. But his stock drops when he concludes by saying "I'm afraid the Tea Party could get a charismatic leader that could do that." And they then go on about how the Tea Party is bad and will destroy the country because they're ignorant and fearmongering...how about these guys listen to themselves?

Mm yes, the worst part is when bunch of slow people you're following notice you're behind them and look at you like you're weird.
Then if a couple people are coming at you from the other way they never go down to single file so you have to walk off the sidewalk and into the grass. These problems never happen outside the city because there is more room to move, people are nice and they aren't covered in bedbugs or AIDS

Back to ranting:
I don't get what Obama means when he says the Republicans were the ones who drove the car into the ditch, the Democrats are fixing it and now the Republicans want the keys back. This is weird because first of all, the Democrats haven't done any fixing. They controlled Congress leading up to the crisis so they're far from getting off scot-free. I also like to think that we live in a free society and the entire economy isn't controlled by a single party...yet.
So the more accurate analogy would be one where there are several cars on the highway, representing the several businesses that drive the economy and help Americans prosper. Republicans are good players in his system and let the cars go by freely. Democrats, however, actively work to make the cars break down as much as they can. Perhaps they add more toll booths to the roads, or jack up the cost at existing ones to tax the drivers. Then they try to dismantle the engines of as many cars as they can through restrictive environmental and labor laws. Their officials roam the streets, forcing the free market cars off the road so they can step in and enhance their power. Once many cars are stuck on the side of the road from overtaxation, burdensome regulation, or uncertain conditions, they realize there's a problem. However, they fail to realize that their policies were the ones that drove as many cars as they possibly could into the ditch. Now, they don't have a problem with the fact that they did this, they're only concerned because less cars means less dues paid to them. So how will they keep their money flowing in? Simple. After the destruction they cause, they have the gall to say it's the driver's fault that they were forced off the road. Their solution? Break down your car and hand it over as scrap to be carted away in Big Government's truck. Under Obamacare, we've seen this happen to college loans and we're seeing it happen to private health care. Obama has no interest in seeing the oil or coal industries do well, and he will continue to use everything in his power to make sure they fail. He's been open about this from the start; he's said that he wants to see the entire coal industry shut down. How many jobs will that cost us? How many cars will that force off the road?
When we get down to it, the government does not drive the economy and it never should be allowed to, lest we repeat the mistakes of the USSR, Nazi Germany or Communist China. The only way our cars will get back on the road is through the hard work of individuals, not only the captains of industry but the average freedom-loving worker, struggling as much as they can to repair their broken vehicles before the Demoncrats come back to heckle them and take their toolboxes away.

The Obamacar analogy Recently our president's said that Republicans drove the car (the economy) into the ditch, the Democrats fixed it, and now the Republicans are getting the keys back to do it again. I think this is an overly simplified way of putting it; both parties were responsible to some degree, after all. In addition, the economy is not just one big car, but rather several vehicles working in cooperation with each other. The road isn't meant for just one big car, as we've seen from the collapse of statism in places like the USSR. If I were to make a comparison, there would be several cars traveling along a highway, representing our many businesses. There would be some who encouraged this free travel, while others would try to pass things like higher tolls and environmental regulations which would break down the engines driving the industry cars and force them into the ditch, to make way for the Obamacar. Now normally the Obamacar would be happy to see as many other cars as possible out of its way so it can own the road, but it is concerned if only because less cars on the road means less money from taxes ends up in its trunk. So the Obamacar sees these broken vehicles and decides to blame them for what happened, then comes up with a plan to "fix" them. The cars get towed away from their previous owners and broken down for scrap, and the Obamacar fills up the void, increasing its power. The Obamacar's already done this with things like college loans, and private health care is on shaky footing. When we have a president who has said he wants the complete shutdown of the coal industry, I have to wonder: how many jobs will that cost us? How many cars will be forced off the road?
My friends, there is no quick fix, no easy solution to getting the cars out of the ditch and having the economy revive again. The only way we are going to get out of this recession is through hard work and effort of individuals, from the average worker to the captains of industry who are at this moment striving to repair their vehicles before the Obamacar can return to take their toolbox away. I hope they are successful.
