Well that's that.

My brother's going to jail for two years.

Finally found out what for too. Apparently it was illegal computer activities.

But not that he got caught or even that he actually did anything. Rather, he was ratted out as part of a deal for someone else to get a lighter sentence.

The arrest happened a few years back. But the trial itself has since passed and he's sentenced to two years.

And shit, it just hit me hard. Two goddamn years. Why'd it have to be him? Why couldn't it have been some other people I know?

It's alright guys. At least it's not like, hard time or whatever. He's telling me it's a minimum security penitentiary, and he can get parole if he's on good behavior. It isn't so bad.

As for evidence or whatever, I don't know shit about this. He's a very uncommunicative individual. We didn't even know about the trial until way later.

How can my bank deduct $600 from my account, but the merchant claim they haven't received that $600? How is it that the "Book Flight" and "Cancel Flight" buttons are the same? I am down $600 and no plane tickets to speak of because of some dumb snafu in the computers.

Okay, my car insurance has been going up recently. My latest premium renewal is now $818. And that's for the bare bones basics.

Just called the insurance agent, told me that the only way to get in lower is to pretty much drop my car from my car insurance policy and just have it pay my medical bills in case of accident.
