Scale obviously goes from 1 hate em to 8 love em. I'm just curious about how people feel about the boys in blue. [Another Randomly generated topic from NitroChrome Industries, LLC] Yes, it's random... So what...

I hate them with their lies. Last New Year evening, my brother got punched by a group of 20+ people without reason. They just came out of nowhere, threw fireworks at us and then punched my brother to hell. And the police was even walking around but haven't seen it. Of course we've reported it to the police.
Now the thing that make me hate them: The news reported that the police had reported that NOTHING had happened with New Year. No fights, no problems, nothing. Damn liars, my brother's lip was bleeding like hell and a tooth was lose!

Luckily I live in a place where the police are not complete dicks or anything. They're still far from perfect (like anything), but at least they are doing their job most of the time.

I do no wrong and the police have been good to me. The cop that pulled me over and informed me that my license was suspended was really cool about it. Didn't write me a ticket for not having insurance (HUGE fine for that). And in case your wondering, he pulled me over to tell me my tire was flat.

Yeah, you went backwards.
Have you ever talked to a cop? I have. a couple of times. Twice for me, once to cover for a super-high friend ('Yeah, we're just taking a walk.') I didn't have great experiences. But I'm glad I'm not stabbed and thrown in a ditch, so 3/8 for me(In the positive way)

Yeah. I hurt myself on my bike and instead of trying to help me a cop tried to fuck me instead thinking I was on drugs and lied to me. Asshole.

My experiences with cops were always good. One time they hailed me over to check my bag ("random inspection! Totally!") Only for them to say "not you" and turns out they were talking to vinny <_<

If they have reasonable cause to suspect you they can detain you and/or search your person. This is a useful power for the police to have, but literally every time I've seen it in person it was just some asshole hassling people, so... yeah. Necessary evil, I guess? I assume there's at least ONE cop out there that has used it for more than being a dick.

In the subways, there are bag check stations that pick people out randomly.
