My experiences with cops were always good. One time they hailed me over to check my bag ("random inspection! Totally!") Only for them to say "not you" and turns out they were talking to vinny <_< That was hilarious oh man/ I remember the first time we got stopped by cops, they asked us math questions. Sweet lawd. I dunno man, being a white guy I have like 0 interaction with cops mostly I just go checking to see if there are any 'round the corner for my thuggier white friends. But yeah sometimes cops are kind of assholes, especially to non-whites. It ain't cool.

I think it's less cops being uncool to non-whites and more you being apologetic because you're white

Poilce in my coutry are pretty good. They don't carry guns or anything like that so they wont shoot you. But I do really hate the English cops. Cos like apparently England is pretty F***ed up for working as a cop. And instead of fixing their own problems they come here with the ass attitudes and f*** things up for us here. They need to go back to their own country.

I've never had a problem with them. Though there was this time where my aunt assumed that one of my cousins had borrowed her van. After some time of not getting the van back, she asked him. Den she realized the thing was actually stolen. We headed to the police station that's like three blocks away from our house and told them the story of how our lives got flipped, turned upside down. The cop said, "are you sure your cousin wasn't lying?" and he gave me a look. I assume he thought I was said cousin. I thought, "Ah hell nah, you better not be sassing me, handsome." Anyway, it was late and one can assume that being at a desk for too long can get on one's nerves. "They're there to serve the people, they can't have an attitude," my mom complained about her baby being accused. Fuck that, they're human. It's only natural that they want the world to burn down every now and then.

Oh, as for Mexican cops. Fuck them. Pulled over my uncle and made him pay a "fine" for apparently going too fast. A few moments later, my uncle had to bribe them again for going too slow.

Stop and search, aka institutional racism. And a certain amount of ageism and classism, which is why long-haired scruffy me was picked, I guess.
It's not even like it's a power the cops need in the first place, since they just use it to look for weed, aka victimless crime.
If the police didn't spend so much time chasing weed and weed growers maybe they could actually get something useful done.

The last time cops got involved in any big way was...
A few years ago when family was in South Carolina and they got a flat tire and the cop helped them fix things up.

I think it's less cops being uncool to non-whites and more you being apologetic because you're white Well I'm apologetic about the uncoolness, pretty much, yeah. I don't have a problem with stop and frisk. Sure, like, hundreds of thousands of cases result in nothing being found, but when they do finally catch a guy with something dangerous, it's worth it. At the very least it makes some folks feel a little safer knowing that's a thing.
