People die, that's life. There will always be a shortage on healthcare. The people who are the most willing to pay for it should get it. And what are businesses supposed to do, continue spending recklessly until they can't afford it? Unlike government, they'd have to stop and shut down at a certain point. Clearly if the recession has proved anything it's that businesses can do whatever they want and run up as big a deficit as they like and it'll be up to us to bail them out in the end. And that's a terrible world view. The people who need healthcare should get it. It's not like it's impossible to cover everyone.

It seems you people think Socialism means nobody has to work. Of course people work, how would the damn system work otherwise? Of course, I love how dictatorships are so efficient and have full employment.

Fine, I'm not saying you shouldn't be able to work to improve your situation, but free market capitalism is heartless.

If the government would just let the failing businesses fail we'd be left with the better ones. But nope, we gotta socialize the losses. It is impossible to cover everyone. Someone has to pay for it, it should be the people who are getting the treatment, because the rich are not a renewable resource.

Whatever, I'm never going to convince you. It just pisses me off how you two think.

I was not in support of big bailouts. I, for one, am looking forward to massive economic collapse.

Better to not get treatment because I can't afford it than to have someone say I can't get it.

And you think the poor should be left for dead. Touche. Who said anything about that? The poor should be helped out as much as possible, but I hate it when the government tries forcing me to do so. It not not Christian to force others to be Christian.

Tell that to the people who died of treatable conditions every year because some fatcat decided they weren't a profitable business venture any more.
