No, you're right, people who don't have a good job don't deserve healthcare, do they?
If you really want to fend for yourself without pesky social welfare bossing you around, why don't you go live in Somalia, and see how much you like your precious financial freedom then?

You gotta work to get the goods in life. I'd rather live in America, we're doing fine before all this healthcare junk and increased expenditures.

Tell that to the people who died of treatable conditions every year because some fatcat decided they weren't a profitable business venture any more.

It seems you people think Socialism means nobody has to work. Of course people work, how would the damn system work otherwise? It's just unnecessary for there to be winners and losers in life, like with capitalism.

People die, that's life. There will always be a shortage on healthcare. The people who are the most willing to pay for it should get it. And what are businesses supposed to do, continue spending recklessly until they can't afford it? Unlike government, they'd have to stop and shut down at a certain point.

Competition provides motivation which leads to progress No motivation is as strong Hell, you're the one who argues humanity is so great because of its progress
Competition is a necessity there is no reason to TRY without it sure I could work, but why try to achieve my potential and work my hardest?
as far as I'm concerned the best argument for socialism was made by Edward Bellamy in Looking Backward and even that was unrealistic, idealistic, and flawed
