1. But other things can, such as driving 2. Plenty of medication exists merely to treat the symptoms. Tylenal/Acetominophin and allergy medication being the more common examples

1. ...what? 2. Yes, the allergies come back, but not worse than they were before. In this case it's the medicine getting you through temporary annoyances while your immune system fixes the problem on its own. Not so with emotional problems; because the issue itself doesn't go away with time, you're left thinking the cure is smoking.
Also, I never take cold medicine either for that very reason. It doesn't fix the problem, it just makes me feel better until it goes away.

1. Driving can harm innocent bystanders 2. Stress generally has a cause, temporary relief while you fix this cause/wait for it to pass is no different than waiting on your immune system.
What's wrong with feeling better until it goes away? If you feel better at least you can be more productive

God damn freedomfags. Smoking sucks, it only exists because some people thought it was cool back in the day and it only still exists because big tobacco is making big money out of shortening life expectancies. There's no reason why people should be 'free' to do whatever they want. You don't have a right to drag everyone else down with you just because you can't interpret consequences. I swear they could put cyanide in a bottle, give it a fancy package design and people would buy that too. Wait, that would actually be less dangerous, since cyanide isn't addictive.

Laharls must smoke or have someone close to him smoke so takes it personally, but his arguments fail. Smoking is stupid and people who smoke are stupid. If you know some one who smokes, you should tell them they are stupid. And thats the bottom line because Stone Cold said so. (Stone Cold gives the finger to all the smokers, personally I'd rather spit in their face because thats how offensive it is when someone blows smoke in my face)

The only good thing about cigarettes is how the government gets to pick up 80% of the retail price in tax in this country. Good times.

Yes take advantage of peoples addiction! Raise the taxes more I say!
Taxes! the finger thing means the taxes!
People on unemployment benefits use their money to buy smokes and then they pay it back on Taxes. The circle of life is complete.

Smoking is bad for your health, but so are a lot of things Smoking has drawbacks, but so do other things Tobacco smoke isnt cyanide, unless you're locking yourself in a closed room with someone smoking for excessive periods of time it probably wont kill you Smokers get a bad rap
as far as I'm concerned, drinkers are far worse and far more harmful it thoroughly pisses me off how it's far more socially acceptable than smoking society is too entrenched in the "bah you smoke you're not a person" ideal as it is it's hard as fuck to be a smoker in todays world, due to laws limiting smoking in most areas they don't need every dumbass with a tv telling insulting them
You've argued smoking is bad, that's nothing new but there are plenty of other bad things that aren't treated in nearly the same way as smoking is and that annoys the hell out of me, they've become pariahs when there are plenty worse out there

It doesn't matter if anything else is 'worse' or not, smoking is still for 'tards.

When they quit they are all "OMG I quit smoking yay look at me, 3 days with out a cigarette ^___^" Pfft, big woop, how a bout a congratulations to all the smart people who never smoked in the first place? Yeah good job to all you non-smokers, we are the true heroes.

No, firemen are
and an attitude like that goes for plenty of other groups as well (pretty much anyone who says 'yay I stopped doing ____') mainly alcoholics and gambling addicts

Blog post #18Good news everyone! My friend called me up and said that he bought a house and it's all good to move in with him and he's all excited about it happening. He says I can stay as long as I like and for free while I'm not working, though I will pay him. Also on this day I find a job advertised for a Science person with a degree like mind at graduate level. AND it's in the same city as my friend where I want to go. I'm thinking his is a sign. Things are looking up Millhouse. So, I'm going to apply for this job, and move in with my friend and then I'll be freeeeeeeee. Also to celebrate I had glass of wine with my dinner. It affected no one else in the area by 2nd hand drinking, and not only did it not give me Acute myeloid leukemia, Bladder cancer, Cancer of the cervix, Cancer of the esophagus, Kidney cancer, Cancer of the larynx, Lung cancer, Cancer of the oral cavity, Cancer of the pharynx, Stomach cancer, or Cancer of the uterus, but instead of increasing the chances of heart disease, strokes, etc it decreased the chances. WOW! No wonder Jesus in into wine. He knows the score. Thanks for reading children...
