Blog post #35
I hope so Tails. Maany I hate wearing heals they killed my feet. The back of my ankle scratches on the back inside of the shoe and ouch.
Anyway, so today another interview, and it was for another job thats pretty close to my house. The since stuff is more related to my degree and similar work to what I was doing with the other job I had. I think this job would be better than the job I had an interview for yesterday.
But todays interview was just with a recruitment agent, so he's going to tell the company about me and he will let me know on tuesday if I can have an interview with the company or not. Hopefully I do.
Maybe if I do and get offered the job I'll take it over yesterdays job. Yesterdays interview guy said he would let me know in about 2 weeks, and maybe if I get an interview with the other company next week then I can ask them how long it will take for them to decide and I could tell them I might get another job so to tell me quickly so I can take it so I can say nop to the other company.

Blog post #36
Time for a non-job hunting blog.
YAY ITS SNOWING AND ITS AWESOME.
I was watching TV with my room mate yesterday afternoon and we had the curtains closed and all that. Then my dad rings me up asking how to fix the stupid broken computer. Then I walked to an area of the house that has better cell reception and I saw out the window the garden was white. So I told my room mate to come but I did not tell her why. YAY SNOW!
Then we went to the otherside of the house to see the deck and it was covered in snow and all the valley and hills and it was awesome. Then I went outside. Eeeeee! The snow was crunchie! Then we got our jackets and gloves and played in the snow. Made a snow man, threw snow balls off the deck. There was not enough snow to make a big snow man we used too much for the base and then kinda made a head. Then stuck a carrot in. It did look like a penis tbh. My room mate said it not me.
But it's not cold. The house keeps in the warmth really well. Also it's still snowing today yay! Even right now. My snowman has lost his nose though. And his head.
It was really icey outside though so it's a good thing I don't have to go out. My room mate was waiting until Sunday night to go buy food but then all this happened and he had no food for dinner. I offeed him some of mine cos I went shopping on friday but he said no. But yeah cos Im on a steap hill and it's all downhill to the mall it would be pretty dangerous for me to walk there. It's meant to snow tomorrow too and then maybe wednesday too.
Im just glad it did not rain on Saturday when I went out. It was fun going out. My first real time out in town having fun with friends. My dad called me earlier in the day asking what I was up to, just said I was gonna watch a movie. Hehe, Im not gonna tell him what Im up to. He will be all blaa blaa. I'm not 12 dad.
So yeah town was interesting. Mainly cos I got drunk by accident before I even left. But also the city is weird. The bars and all that are all together in one place. Then rest of the city are banks and shops and offices, so everything between the train station and where I was meeting for about 4Km was closed and the streets were empty.
I did not like the empty streets. Especially when I was walking back to the train station all alone in the early hours of the morning. I felt unsafe. But it was safe. There was the odd person around. Some Maori guy was all "Gotta dollar?" and I said no. I was a little worried when he approcahed me because in Auckland if you get asked and say no they get their friends to attack you. But it was mostly white people around so definitly more safe than Auckland.
It just sucks being bound by train time tables and leaving early to catch the last train home.
Also I touched someone.
Well thats all I've got to say.

I also forgot to say I got almost $1000 from the government in back pay and will get $244 per week. Yay. Now I can go spend it on smokes and gambling and if I have 3-4 kids I'll get like $1000 per week.

Blog post #37
Well all my job searching is coming to this thrilling climax. I'm so stressed out. So lets get info sorted out first. There are 3 jobs atm.
1) This job is for a large company, it's the one I got all excited about ages ago with a phone interview and had a interview last week. There are 3 other people competing for the job. It's based in the city. It's doing science stuff thats kinda related to my degree. But it's all good experience. They said I would hear back if I get the job next week.
2) This job I had an interview with a job agent on friday. It's very close to my house, I can walk there. It's more related to what I did on my old job in Auckland. Science stuff, but not exactly related but good experience.
3) This job is EXACTLY my degree and will be awesome experience. I had a phone interview today. I got hooked up with the job via another job agency who I had an interview with about two weeks ago. They want to give me the job. All I gotta say is yes. HOWEVER, this job is not in the city, it's in another part of the country and would need to move. I have until Friday to say yes.
So, I could take job 3 and move again. But I don't want to. I love living here, I have so many friends, the house is awesome and it's the best city in the country. I could throw all that away to live in some small town I've never been to. Forget about the other jobs, even though I could get them. I might move and have a great job and be unhappy again.
OR I could say nop to job 3, and wait it out, see if I get job 1, or job 2. Miss out on job 3, then end up them saying in job 1 and 2 nop. So then I have no job, but still living in Awesomeland.
I rang the Agent for job 2 and told him about job 3, and how I need to give an answer at the end of the week so he's going to try get me an interview tomorrow or the next day. He says I have a good chance at getting the job.
I'm going to wait a couple more days Maybe Thursday or Friday and call the people at job 1 and ask if they have any idea who they will pick or how much of a chance do I have of getting the job.
So I've done all I can do atm. I just have to wait. I'm just so stressed out about this. The choices I make here will affect my life in the next year or two a lot.
Also, I'm going to look like a total idiot if I say no to Job 3 and don't get job 1 or 2. The agent for job 3 will also be very mad with me. Because thats how they earn their money. A company tells the agent about a job they have, the agent goes out and find that person from their database or networking or ads. They find a person for the job, like me. Then the company pays them when they hire the person. The agent on my side of things does all the job hunting for me also and has a lot of contacts with companies so can find me jobs. It's free for me to use.
But the agent is really pushing me to take this job number 3, and I don't want to. Unless I have to. I told her at the start when she first called me that I wanted to work here, and would only move if I got desperate. Arrrgh!
I'm going out for a walk in the snow, it's snowing and for some reason watching it fall makes me more relaxed.
