Xmas is less than a month away!
Have you guys made your lists for Santa? What are you buying your friends and family.
I personally want nothing. >_>
But I'll have to buy my parents and sister some crap I suppose. Any ideas?

blasphemous abbreviation >_> anyway, this Christmas I'll probably obtain Vanquish, Starcraft 2, The Hobbit(since for some reason I dont own it yet) and money from various other relatives
as for buying things for parents, my dad says he needs a belt, so there's that, as for my mother I have no clue

to take the "Christ" out of a holiday celebrating his birth is wrong as is bashing religion and then still celebrating it *cough*nitro*cough*

I never understood why people called it X-mas. I'm thinking, "If X=Christ, then maybe that X represents the cross he was crucified on"? Ecks kris Just doesn't sound the same.

Had a squiz around the net.
Apparently the X comes from the Greek alphabet. In the Greek language Christ is Christos, and in their alphabet Cri is X, and so Christos is Xristos. The name Xristos has been abbreviated to X in parts of the New Testament.
So it turns out Xmas is not trying to remove Christ and it's not blasphemous, since X = Christ.
So some people get upset about because they don't understand the origin of it.

When is your "free stuff" day?

I have a lot of free stuff days but it's constantly moving back each year because of the Lunar calendar, which is a sucky calendar and nobody should ever use it
