They don't get. They don't read 1st sentence. I was not tying pot smoking to the Holocaust in THAT post. The one before it sure. So I get modded for the clarification? Meen. Just to tie up this loose end, it was not overturned obviously, because even though I made the most compelling argument ever invented, they are the most mods ever invented. I went to one of the politics spinoff boards and there was a moderation topic round those parts, so I just went in to ask. Then a clearly insane liberal type basically told me to gtfo which is both meen of him and very dumb because a mod frequented that place and saw it. So he's warned now and that was a fun game if I do say so myself ^_^

I mentioned neither pot nor the Holocaust in this post. What I did mention here was that it was not my intention to tie the two together. I wasn't saying pot smokers are the same as Holocaust participants, and I was trying to clarify that in this post. I was pointing out that the argument "everyone else is doing it," doesn't hold much weight as it amounts to the idea that peer pressure is an acceptable reason and gives the green light for certain behavior. Would I have been modded if I had used the old adage "would you jump off a bridge if everyone else was doing it"? If I had said that instead, would I have been modded for tying pot smokers to participants in some bridge-jumping mass suicide cult?

Fine, the post where I actually made the comparison is moddable. I didn't make the connection in this one, though. What I said first sentence here was that the actions during the Holocaust were "obviously much worse" and that I didn't mean to connect the two in the way that other people were asserting. And there is no such thing as the Nuremburg trials anyway, you're thinking of the Nuremberg trials. Loophole? Signs point to yes.
