Okay non-objective morality people I'd like an honest answer to this question:
"Why is it wrong to violate the rights of others?"
Maybe you can do better than this answer I recently got:
"Because its their rights, of course."

news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100805/ap_on_re_as/as_china_us_carrier_killerNothing projects U.S. global air and sea power more vividly than supercarriers. Bristling with fighter jets that can reach deep into even landlocked trouble zones, America's virtually invincible carrier fleet has long enforced its dominance of the high seas.
China may soon put an end to that.
U.S. naval planners are scrambling to deal with what analysts say is a game-changing weapon being developed by China — an unprecedented carrier-killing missile called the Dong Feng 21D that could be launched from land with enough accuracy to penetrate the defenses of even the most advanced moving aircraft carrier at a distance of more than 1,500 kilometers (900 miles).
Funded by annual double-digit increases in the defense budget for almost every year of the past two decades, the Chinese navy has become Asia's largest and has expanded beyond its traditional mission of retaking Taiwan to push its sphere of influence deeper into the Pacific and protect vital maritime trade routes.
"The Navy has long had to fear carrier-killing capabilities," said Patrick Cronin, senior director of the Asia-Pacific Security Program at the nonpartisan, Washington-based Center for a New American Security. "The emerging Chinese antiship missile capability, and in particular the DF 21D, represents the first post-Cold War capability that is both potentially capable of stopping our naval power projection and deliberately designed for that purpose."
Carrier-killing missiles "could have an enduring psychological effect on U.S. policymakers," he e-mailed to The AP. "It underscores more broadly that the U.S. Navy no longer rules the waves as it has since the end of World War II. The stark reality is that sea control cannot be taken for granted anymore."
Gates said China's investments in cyber and anti-satellite warfare, anti-air and anti-ship weaponry, along with ballistic missiles, "could threaten America's primary way to project power" through its forward air bases and carrier strike groups.like omg cut military spending rather than welfare programs, the rest of the world means us no harm

www.reuters.com/article/idUSN0517225620100805The U.S. Postal Service reported a quarterly net loss of $3.5 billion on Thursday and said it will likely have a cash shortfall going into 2011.
The agency, which delivers nearly half the world's mail, has reported net losses in 14 of the last 16 fiscal quarters.
Revenue in the third quarter that ended June 30 fell $294 million to $16 billion from a year ago, while expenses were $789 million higher at $19.5 billion, due largely to higher workers' compensation costs and retiree health benefits.
Cash flow seems on track to handle 2010 operations, Corbett said, but it is uncertain whether sufficient liquidity will be in place for 2011 after the agency must make a $5.5 billion payment on Sept. 30 to prefund retiree health benefits.Silly unions.

I dunno, I'd say the Unions deserve some crushing. But as I've said before, low tariff mail is a public service and not a moneymaking business... If they only cost 3 Billion a year I'd say they're doing the job right.

www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2010/jul/28/doctors-feat-obese-warnings-healthDunno which I dislike more...people worried that calling someone fat isn't politically correct, or a government that thinks it's their job to do this. The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (Nice) today published guidelines on pregnancy, saying NHS staff were dealing with "an epidemic of obesity" among pregnant women. No wai it's like they're gaining over ten pounds for some reason! The coalition government has struggled to define an agenda on public health, hoping to move away from the previous government's tendency to make new laws and instead push better behaviour in the wider population.
In doing so, it has come under fire from lobby groups who say people do not change the way they live their lives without signals from the government.Creepy statement is creepy.
