I got matched against my friend during a ranked match. For the second time. That's astronomical odds, but whatever. Yugi vs Joey round two. He's winning lane, I have to resort to psychological attacks for every little thing he does. There was a moment where he was fighting me over bush control by killing my pink ward, which got him caught by our jungle. "but you got the pink though!" "I also have the game!" And then his team destroyed us for about 50 minutes. We got a few lucky catches and won through that. "But you DID get the pink though!" And then he rage quit. And then I remembered it was his birthday. And then I had to buy him 20 dollars worth of skins.

Street Fighter V's story mode is REALLY good. They went all out with all sorts of scenes and locations and fight choreography
And instead of shoehorning in fights against other existing characters, there's a huge variety of NPC opponents that aren't playable at all, and they're not clones either. Well, except for the Dolls who are clones of Cammy but that makes sense, Cammy was a Doll and they're all trained to fight the same way. And it's only their normals that are cloned from Cammy, their special moves are still completely different. It's really impressive.

I looked at the Wii save data and remembered a lot of it was sitting on the old one with the disc failures, because they won't let you copy over games that have online components which no longer exist. Dagnabbit. But can i transfer it to Wii U?

The broken Wii is now a total brick with the system transfer, which was about an hour but when you expect to do it in 2 hours that's pretty good. To get the old one hooked up to the TV with sensor bar, synced remotes to both systems after getting batteries for them, download stuff from the internet, find an SD card, get the stuff moved...all you did moving amecube to Wii was move the memory card!
I got my level 99 Ghost Squad character and the Brawl data that's 7 stickers from completion. The rest? Weeeeaaak - this is just the stuff left over that couldn't be transferred to the other Wii. So there's a few others and then the rest are bros' guitar hero call of duty I don't care about. I didn't see my Super Mario Galaxy data on the other Wii though. Has my sister been up to tricks again? Not like I'd complain if I play that again...maybe on the bomb-the-junk star...
Wait why is the main TV turning off for Wii games? Is it because I'm using the gamepad as a sensor bar? Is it because of the HDMI cable? I ain't playing Wii games on littlescreen.
So basically I got a couple games back, learned that whoever made the pikmin transfer march had some fun with it, and got dozens of Miis back. Oh girly Michael Jackson, how I missed you.

Finally decided to go ahead with Xenoblade X's story. Managed to kill them without any of Sylvalum's arches getting destroyed! Which is odd because it took multiple tries so I was certain that I wouldn't be able to kill them fast enough but here we are.
And THAT means I can do Nagi's next quest... and get BLOSSOM DANCE
Despite not having QTEs somehow it's harder to use than it was in the first Xenoblade. Half the time Overdrive runs out before I can take advantage of the multiplier. Eh I'll figure this out later. Now that I'm not worried about a piece of virtual landscape being destroyed getting through the rest of the game should be simple.

Any Tales game where I can pull off 100+ hits in a combo is automatically one of the best ones
