Level 40 now, doing a ton of quests to increase affinities though.

I think I may be ready to take on Chapter 10 without destroying Sylvalum's Butt soon.

There's a Nier let's play I want to watch. Shouldn't be an issue so long as I speed run it like I speed ran Pokem Black 2 in time for X.
What ends up happening is that I can't fight the urge to level up my fishing skills.

I did NOT beat another gym today, but I did get through the little tunnel with rock smash and beat the Elite Four...aka that silly family with the Macho Brace.

I need Go Goggles...and I also want a Golurk...who I will name Gogurt.

Alright, by not finishing every side quest I have among the myriad I've accepted I've managed to finish the first half of the game pretty fast. Could always do them later.
What's that? I can't continue quests from the first half of the game? Haha, time to rotate back to that save.

Square x 4 > Up+Square > Square X 4 > Up + Square > Square X 4 > DELAY > Forward + Square > Turn around > Square X 4 > DELAY > Forward + Square > Turn around > Square X 4 > DELAY > Forward + Square > Turn around > Square X 4 > Glide + Square

Originally I thought the combo ended after the Forward + Square but I found out if you wait for the enemy to be knocked away a little bit you can turn around and catch them after the attack. The timing is a little tough, and even harder on smaller enemies. But if you get it down it's great, I combo'd a boss to the ceiling this way.

I'll try to see how you can fit artes into that, beyond replacing the final Glide+Square with Sword Rai-err, Needle Strike

Also combos don't break if you get hit, only if you get into hitstun. Since all artes have super armor you can just use one right when a boss attacks to keep your chain going. You'll take damage so you still need to watch for that

Also, that sucks.
Square x 4 > Up+Square until you run out of room on the screen. Your last string of squares should end in a needle shot, which will push them away, and then you follow up with the forward square as you mentioned.
Turn around and do the quadra squares with needle shot as you mentioned. The thing is you can only do the forward square air dash a total of three times while in the air so you have to hit the ground at some point to people able to do it more. In order to touch the ground without dropping the combo, just throw in an ice shot which causes them to fall to the floor, yet still in a juggable state, really slow.
Once you've collected yourself, just run up and launch the giant ice volleyball again with your 3 uses of square forwards back and presumably all your pow meter. If you'd rather not hit the floor, you can do an air roll, R1, once you're out of forward squares but that's hard to time.

well I've done similar with Needle Spoodle but I'm thinking of constructing a combo using Light Spea-err, High Thrust in place of up+squares, dunno if you have that yet

I haven't tried it yet but I'm thinking Square x 4 > Up + Square > Square X 4 > High Thrust> Square X 4 > Up + Square > Square X 4 > High Thrust > Square X 4 > Delay Forward Square > Turn Around > Square X 4 > High Thrust > Square X 4 > Delay Forward Square > Turn Around > Square X 4 > High Thrust > Square X 4 > Delay Forward Square > Turn Around > Square X 4 > High Thrust > Square X 4 > High Thrust > Square X 4 > High Thrust > Square X 4

Then maybe top it off with Glide + Square or Ice Shot? Maybe if you did multiple Ice Shots with a slight delay in between you can eventually catch the enemy (I don't think one would be enough, they'd be near the ceiling and you'd fall to the ground) but of course this uses all of your magic

Not only was it 3 of them that were witness to the confession (with one of them being a senior officer) there was also a civilian present at the time of the confession, that's a whole lotta corroboration

I haven't tried it yet but I realized instead of just finishing combos with Glide Strikes, if I combo high enough I can probably Glide TO the enemy to continue the combo, since I have Fast Glide now
