Looks a bit cartoony for my tastes but still worth checking out, probably.

Well I was more thinking about me than you guys. >_>
I just got off Simcity where I'm building the third and most fleshed out so far section of my mega-city. So far it's got a razors edge high tech district where all the water and the electricty is made though a combination of Nuclear, Hydrogen, and Solar arrays, and the grimy industrial zone where nobody lives, just a huge stretch of dirty factories and cheap office blocks, and right now I'm building the "metropolis" section, which doesn't look quite as flash and wealthy as the high tech district where the first 500,000 live, but it should house more than a million people when it's fully grown, as well as a healthy port and maunfacturing district.

That they were.
Did you ever mod your game? Citybuilding is fun in the original, but it kind of stops after you get to mid-rise buildings. With the mods, your city just keeps getting taller and taller, and sprawling outwards if you choose. In fact, I really need to download higher capacity schools and hospitals. You have to place a new 5 floor hospital every few blocks because there are so many people, it's ridiculous. >_>;
