Mkay, so I finally installed cfw on my psp, and I thought "Aww.... Why not?" and got my hands on Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness. But my question is, are the Disgaea games related to each other (as in the stories)? Or is every Disgaea game a story on it's own (like the Final Fantasy games)? And if they're related to each other, anything important I need to know before playing and preventing confusion?

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (PS2), Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness (PSP), adn Disgaea DS (DS) are all the same
they are the same story, the only difference is additional features (DSgaea, being the most recent, has the most)
Disgaea 2 has a separate story with cameos of Disgaea 1 characters
so you dont need to have played the first to understand the second
The first game was the best imo though, so you should play that one
That means use a PS2, psp, or DS
did that answer anything?

Just wondering, did you ever get around to playing one of the Tales of series games? No, but I'm planning to. I've already downloaded Tales of Sympthonia (GC), but have yet to burn it. >.< I'm planning on getting Tales of Vesperia (I liked the demo). I'm downloading Tales of Eternia and World: Radiant Mythology for PSP, but it's taking forever. >.< |
