Planning at installing Homebrew/CW at my PSP

And since I can't ask on Gfaqs anymore, I thought asking here.....

I did a little research, and I'm wondering, my PSP has currently firmware 5.51 installed, so can I still install Homebrew/Custom Firmware at my PSP? If so, then how do I have to install it and where can I find the files?

I agree, DS >>>>> PSP. I love my DS from the EU release day. Just a "few" crashes, but it's still working as new. =^.^=

Anyway, I already found a whole guide how to install and use CFW on the psp, all I need to know now is if I can install CFW on my psp with 5.51 Firmware........
