GM gave me the idea to start a topic, but I think it'd be cool. So how bout it? We can figure details out if we have maybe 4 or so people committed to this thing. So. Who'd be interested? It's fun and you don't need experience with either DMing or playing, though it'd be nice since I don't know too much about it. I gotta go now, but I'mma leave this here so you guys can all join in.

I'm down for it. I definitely play the most D&D as far as I know, but I don't think I'm cut out for DMing.

Nitro, if we did then I wasn't here for it.
Tails, are you interested at all?

I meant my thing. But yes, over chat might work a lot better.
However, I'd like to register my objection to a fantasy setting in favour of a modern or sci-fi thingumie.

You know what? If you're down, Nitro, we can all make like, new classes appropriate for Sci-fi settings. But note that it'll take a lot of time to make even a few classes remotely balanced.

Well... I meant more like, we just choose a different game set in one of those eras, they're all build pretty much the same, if all you know if D and D it should take no time at all for you to pick up a 'new' system.
But hey, it's just my opinion, maybe you guys like fantasy.
Ooh, we could play that system I linked to aaaaaages ago, about like, rebels without a cause or something, I'll think about the name of it and try to get back to you

DnD is like, the simplest, and everything's all cut out for us. It's up to the DM to make things interesting, not any existing material

thekitchensink123.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/the-real-misspent-youth-review.htmloh here's the system I was thinking of, there's a free PDF manual out on the internet somewhere (i tried to get on their website and it's been hacked apparently) that I can try to dig out, I remember the manual being called 'eyebleed edition' but hey, maybe I like the idea of the game just because I have a hardon for the rebellion theme, for obvious reasons

But Nitro, if you DM, you basically decide all facets of the adventure. Rebels with a cause? Sure. I'm game with doing whatever as long as everyone is cool with it. It's just that I'm familiar with the DnD fight system, classes, items, etc. But it's all up to the Common Collective. Whatcha'll think?

I'm sticking with DnD

Hmm, I might enjoy being the DM (or whatever's the equivalent in whatever game we play), I do enjoy playing the villain
I mean, I don't want to piss all over anyone else's cornflakes or anything, it's just a personal preference of mine for modern/sci fi, and I feel like changing the game would be easier than trying to rewrite the rulebook, if I'm outvoted then I'm totally fine with whatever.
So would this be over voice? Because I don't think roleplaying really works any other way personally

It could be voice over, or it could be chat based. Either way, I'd agree with you Nitro, I think you'd be a good villain. But being a DM is more than that, you gotta work out a whole story, basically make an entire adventure. Design enemies and traps and campaigns. Can you do that?
Here's an idea. Say we stick with DnD, but instead of fantasy, we can switch to a more Sci-fi setting, keeping all the classes with everything but name. Like, a cleric can be a... space cleric, and a druid is a... robo druid. You get my point. Keep abilities and stuff, just change them around (obviously better than what I just said)
