Depends on lots of things for me.

Like, I bought FFV on the GBA even though I pirated and played the unofficial English patch for the original SNES version, which never had an official English release.
On the other hand, I avoided the GBA FFI rerelease even though it's my favourite game in the series simply because they changed magic to run on MP for some stupid reason.
