So, what do you people do to chat with each other nowadays? I already linked my MSN account to Skype, and now I never see any of you online there.

People should get XMPP accounts on federated servers, and just chat with each other using Google Talk or Jabber.org. I have both a Google Talk user name, a Jabber.org user name (which I don't log into), and a kode54.net XMPP user name, all of which are interchangeable.

Arse, I didn't notice I had logged into Skype using the Skype account name. You have to log in with the merged MSN account details to see MSN contacts.
