no one likes it but hey, WWIII can't be far off and all we really need is one good global thermonuclear war where people pick a nonwinning move and choose to play and then we can probably say goodbye to people although that'd be terrible for the planet so I'd hate to see our species purged like that, but it seems like the most likely option

I'll support it if they've isolated the X-Gene or have otherwise figured out how to develope super powers down the line.

wtf is wrong with you people Don't look at me, I don't want to kill everyone, I want to make the species smarter and more resilient and healthier. I don't think that short-sightedness is a massive thing to deal with in the early stages of any hypothetical eugenics program, but there are plenty of fatal and or debilitating illnesses to sort out. I'm pretty sure I'm alone on this but I couldn't give a single fuck if my kids didn't have a single one of my genes if it meant they were going to be the best they could possibly be.

You really wanna improve human genetic code? Blow up all the hospitals. Anyone who needs their services needs better genes and should just die out before polluting the gene pool.

So...kill just a few people? Nah, sterilisation works just as well. Or adoption. I dislike our obsession with progeny. Don't look at me, I don't want to kill everyone, I want to make the species smarter and more resilient and healthier. I don't think that short-sightedness is a massive thing to deal with in the early stages of any hypothetical eugenics program, but there are plenty of fatal and or debilitating illnesses to sort out. But there are always going to be mutations even if you have a perfect human when the make kids things could go wrong so might as well just let nature do whatever. That's like saying you might die in a car crash even if you don't wear a seatbelt, so you might as well not wear one, even though it makes dying like a hundred times more likely. You really wanna improve human genetic code? Blow up all the hospitals. Anyone who needs their services needs better genes and should just die out before polluting the gene pool. Please don't screw around, most illnesses have nothing to do with the genetic code, and this whole thing is to make people's lives better, getting rid of all hospitals would be totally counterproductive. While we're on the subject though, I think the government should keep a much tighter rein on antibiotics and don't sell them to anyone, just prescribe them through a doctor when people actually need them. One of these days we're going to get hit by some superbug that's got immunity to every antibiotic because some dumbass was taking them when he didn't need to. You really wanna improve human genetic code? Blow up all the hospitals. Anyone who needs their services needs better genes and should just die out before polluting the gene pool. Why stop there? Go for all out genocides Because you're a psycho.

I think it's an animal rights/gaia thing, which seems hilarious to me personally as he likes hunting, but never mind.

kindof I've no issue with hunting because it's the way nature works, animals kill each other and death on its own isn't that bad and is actually a necessity I see nothing wrong with killing and eating an animal as it's the way of the world
I have an issue with suffering and human beings are wonderful at making things suffer or harming them on a level greater than the individual, like endangering a species and things like the leveling of forests
and in general people just suck they spread and they fuck everything up and at most you get a "whoops that's bad okay we wont do that anymore" but never has the species truly payed for what it has done and continues to (and will forever continue to) do

That's like saying you might die in a car crash even if you don't wear a seatbelt, so you might as well not wear one, even though it makes dying like a hundred times more likely. It would be more like you die in a car crash everytime you drive a car because every person born has small genetic mutations their parents don't have.
