idk, they've just banned it. Ask them. It's not like they don't test the blood for diseases anyway but I guess for whatever reason they made their decision. I suppose they probably have to combine lots of blood samples into one to test it cost-effectively and they don't want to have to throw the whole lot out if one donor had teh big ghey plague. But I think there's ways around it, I dunno, it's just a big 1980's hangover from when they were talking about putting AIDs sufferers in camps.
