Ah, yes, the documentary. It's mostly for the people who don't understand the fandom, really, to try adn explain it to the rest of the world. Y'know, without yelling "THEY'RE A BUNCHA PERVS!"

No... I just think it's smarmy and self-serving, personally, furries do the exact same thing, people just want to watch what other people are saying about them and they'll pay for the privilege, I highly doubt that anyone else is nearly as interested in the phenomena of bronyism as bronies.

I know plenty of parents out there are concerns about their sons' new hobby and unfortunately sometimes obsession, they'll definitely be interested in seeing it. And it's not like it was a brony idea, John DeLancie was dicking around one day and said, "hey, I wonder what the hell these fans are so obsessed with on that show I did voice acting for half a year ago, these nuts won't stop emailing me." So he did some poking around on the net and said, "wow, these kids ain't half bad. It sucks a bunch of fucks (more like Fox News amirite) are going about it all wrong. I should totes make a legit documentary that doesn't use faulty and biased info. Like... What about the biggest convention? Yep. Doing it. Alert the media!"

And so it happened. The target audience is pretty much skeptics and people who want to known what the hell is going o with the colorful ponies they see everywhere. In practice, however, I agree that we'll have to wait and see exactly how accurate that turns out to be.
