How many times have foxes appeared in this show? Zero!
How many times have ferrets appeared? At least five!

Also, while we're on the subject of ranking the ponies...
1. Rainbow Dash & Fluttershy
Yes, both are tied at first place.
Rainbow Dash is just awesome for not acting like just some pony, and making a hell of a living. Yes, I'm aware she's tomboyish as hell, which is kinda weird, but that also makes her more awesome.
Fluttershy is just awesome for being kind and an animal lover. And it's just sweet in some way when she shows her true powers when you hurt a loved one of her.
2. Rarity & Applejack
Yes, I tied these two at the second place. They're like opposites of each other, Rarity is precise, clean, social etc, Applejack just goes for it, doesn't care about getting dirty etc.
So yeah, they're both awesome for their own reasons that tie them together.
3. Twilight Sparkle
Rarity is precise, but Twilight is perfect. Seriously, how can you be serious 24/7? I would get nuts of that. It's that she makes the show more alive, else she should be kicked out.
Pinkie Pie can't be ranked because she ranks herself wherever she wants.
