Liberals are doing what you'd expect their side to do when it's failing the debate. For years, liberals have tried to ignore the dangers of radical Islam, but attack after attack have made that impossible to ignore. They lost that argument. So now they're operating on the level where everyone assumes, and everyone knows, that radical Islam is bad. Their mission here is to sow doubt via relativism, falsely claiming that peaceful Christians are no different or worse than the Islamic extremists. It's a false smear, it's a low tactic, but at least we can be happy that they failed the last debate and everyone knows that Islamic terrorism is bad. You don't want to be compared to it.

This is without a doubt the saddest case of bad priorities I've ever seen on the site, when it comes to my account. I've often said that the rules are badly-enforced and you have no idea what a mod will get "offended" by. So when you get the alert for a moderation, it's never going to be for the message you expect. It's going to be for some totally harmless message you never thought would get taken down in a million years.

This happened to me tonight, but again it's the biggest case of failed expectations and bad priorities I've ever seen. I went in fully expecting this to be for that wall of text anti-gay rant I did last night, fully expecting to get moderated for that (you may see it here tomorrow). Failing that, my second thought was I got modded for calling the Obamas a group of harpies and hoping that they crawled back under the bridge in Chicago they oozed out from. Instead I got moderated for this:

This is good for jobs. Good for young people and rising workers. Minimum wage was originally designed to freeze minorities out of the workplace because traditionally disadvantaged groups found it even harder to convince reluctant employers that they were worth $15 an hour. Liberal minwage policies spitefully kicked the lower rungs of the ladder out from under them, made it harder for them to advance and gain the skills they need for success in the workplace. Likewise, minwage policies kicked the little guy and made it harder for small business owners to compete, while the big guys who could afford it stuck around and monopolized. It entrenched inequality and was just plain wrong. Good to see that this left-wing scheme is getting undone.

I would love to know why it's acceptable discourse to say someone like Reagan ignored the gay community when HIV deaths grew, but the same cannot be said of Obama's policies. Claiming that President Obama was responsible for the increased rates of HIV in those demographics is misleading. That's all fascinating and if you would like to debate me, you can talk with me on the Politics board like anyone else. This message is not going to kill anyone and there's nothing in it that would involve the moderation system. All I did was put up a link, brought up some numbers, and it's their assertion as well. There would be wiggle room if the figures went up a point or two, but this is a big problem. If we truly believe "the buck stops here"...and keep in mind that if these numbers were good, Obama and other politicians would want to take all the credit. There's a very good reason why people on that board are ignoring it the way, as you said yourself, the government ignored it for the past decade. Who was in charge over that time period? I've made my conclusion. Disagree and debate on the board but don't moderate over a non-violation, it's just absurd.

The other part of this is the bias that comes in, which I can't ignore. I know exactly who marked this, because that person sent me a message to gloat about it afterwards. This is the same person who has in the past said, right there on the boards, that he marked EVERY message of mine because he has something personal against me. Same person who also says frequently that he thinks EVERY conservative currently on board 261 is trolling. He frequently follows me around and posts right after me, including this very topic, where he usually tries to derail it by calling me mentally unstable, a pillow f***er, all this stuff. They are dedicated moderators to the point of being total assholes and being totally useless. They very rarely ever bother to do research on the situations they are asked to mod, as evidenced by Hi_Sophia getting them to delete over 30 topics in 48 hours for bullshit reasons.

They also have been shown to have a strong hatred of joke posts and quoting, as both of them are seen as disruptive. Most of them can't tell the difference between sarcasm and actual posts.

Around June 2014 GameFAQS banned the word "GFAQSSB" (Abbreviation for this wiki) for reasons unknown, But is possibly due to "User Harassment".
