I could give you some examples from wally. They will tell you if you think those are moderations MIASU. If you tell them you have MIASU, they tell you to keep waiting.

I'm guessing it was over Zimmerman and this is the first time you said it that it happened? If it was over something else, it coincides with Zimmerman and you know these big events, the mods make the board radioactive.

"How does one stop moderator harassment?"

I'm referring to wally's usual antics on board 261. It's hard to figure out where to start, but I'll begin with his most recent lie about me.

I have never had an account banned, so I don't know where he's getting this from. I have five accounts total:

-Tails82
-TaiIs82
-Ninetails82
-and two other small-time alts I would prefer remain confidential (no moderations on these)

TaiIs82 is the only account I use regularly on the politics board.

But this is beside the point. wally has trapped himself in a corner with this one: if false, he has knowingly been spreading lies about me to harm my reputation. If true, he has been revealing user histories, which I believe is a no-no. And yet he has done this (or claimed he knows them) on more than one occasion. I can provide examples of this as well.

Now, as someone who has on more than one occasion threatened me and other accounts with suspension the first chance he gets, I cannot help but think that this is all done out of political motives and personal grudges he has with certain people on the board. As the topic above illustrates, wally has a history of showing up in my topics and derailing them into a "to mod or not to mod" exercise. The message is rather clear: though he admittedly does not have grounds to moderate under the terms, he will engage in intimidation and suggest there will be trouble, should the messages he disagrees with continue. If that fails, he will make up lies about users and the topic will always end up derailed anyway, turning it away from the political subject at hand to focus on account ad hominems and engaging in why-aren't-you-banned-yet discussions.

Another tendency of his is to spam "lol" or "=D" in certain topics. It's not enough to be omnipresent, but it'd probably be seen as disruptive from most others. I have a nice stack of examples on hand if anyone would like an illustration.

wally has also admittedly shown up intoxicated at board 261 (far be it from me to question one's ability to handle marked messages in such a state), and treat the resulting confrontations as a form of entertainment, which I'd believe would be seen as rather trollish from someone else. Again, evidence is readily available should someone like to see it.

I would also like to say for the record that my past name alteration of Governor Coumo was not viewed positively among the moderation staff, but I decided to give this alteration a test run seeing as wally (and others) frequently altered the letters of John Boehner's name in a similar way without consequence.

I'll close this out with a recent incident in which I brought up some of wally's more controversial positions (such as calls for public floggings, and jail time for Republicans - but I'm sure he's not biased when it comes to modding messages!)

What exactly is this supposed to mean? It sounds to me like he's calling me a homosexual in a derogatory manner. Yet the untouchable principle known as MIASU has apparently deemed this acceptable discourse, after about a week of inaction (as opposed to a 64-second turnaround for my recent nkl criticizing Obama too fervently...I didn't know we had speed readers on staff). Where's that same sense of urgency among moderators when it comes to one of their own? I can't help but think there are two sets of rules here.
