did see Dinner for Schmucks last night
the entire movie was basically Steve Carell doing his kind of humor
so don't see it if you dont like Carell

it wasnt very good
unless you just want to see a movie for excessive gore or nudity, I'd advise you skip it
unless you have asshole friends who just look at rottentomatos scores when picking a movie

saw Piranha 3Dit wasnt very good unless you just want to see a movie for excessive gore or nudity, I'd advise you skip it unless you have asshole friends who just look at rottentomatos scores when picking a movie Somehow I ended up on a youtube video showing the fish attacking. It was stupid. 3 main gory bits I noticed were the porn star getting cut in half (that was pretty funny), the girl with her hair tangled in the propeller and her face pulled off (When I saw what was going to happen I though oh no thats bad, but it would have had more affect if they did not actually show it just screaming and let your mind fill in the gaps) and the other girl just randomly being split in half as she was carried to the beach (wtf there was no reason for that at all). Looked like a stupid movie, and the whole 3D thing looks dumb too, people throwing up on the camera so it looks like it's coming at you, thats just WTF. |

saw Machete
I laughed a lot
Machete manages to screw pretty much every female character (you know it's gonna happen when the baseline kicks in and you here the "bow chicka wow")
and the violence is way over the top (first action sequence he severs a guys hand, then picks up the hand (which held a gun) and used the gun to kill two other people, later on he guts someone and repels down the building using his intestines)
it was rediculous

I watched "Four Lions". It was okay. Kind of weird having terrorists as protagonists, but the film wasn't funny enough to really justify it.
