I have seen the first Modern Warfare. Talk about the uncanny valley. Insanely good graphics, but take an assault rifle to a toilet and all that happens is it gets cracked. Shoot a car tire and you get a metallic dent.

I'd have been able to tolerate this as late as the last generation, but this time it just looks strange.

I kinda get what you mean, but still, it's hardly gamebreaking... (Also, I think you're using the phrase uncanny valley wrong?)

Like Nitro said, you're supposed to shoot the enemies, not watch the scenery. Heck, you don't even have the change to watch the scenery when you play online. >_>

But if you don't like shooters in general, then I can't persuade you to play CoD. Though there are people who don't like shooters yet love Modern Warfare 2.....
