It was bloated, could have used a great deal more editing (the time traveling bit has me irked to no end), and needed a more connected narrative (it's three entirely separate plots loosely tied together at the very end).

But yes, it's an amazing title. I recommend anyone play it.

It wasn't the "can't return" thing (in fact, the only enemy you can miss is a mirror in the emperor's palace; the only thing you can miss in the past is feeding a dog), but the fact that it effectively caused the plot to retcon itself. That cool little tale in the opening? Yeah, not so cool anymore. >_<
