I'm convinced Crazy Cat Ladies develop specifically because of how low maintainence they are relative to other pets. If you can't even provide a proper litter box, then yeah.

Because my animals do their poopy times outside in our forest. They dig a hole, poopy, and cover it back up. People who let animals crap in their house are weird.

Some people keep their cats indoors at all times, or at least supervise their outdoor excursions, because there are dangers such as large carnivores, speeding cars, and plenty of assholes who kill pets for the thrill of it before moving up to killing people.

If a pet can do something good for me, that'd be nice. But pretty much everything they do is destructive.
