Probably won't? It's inevitable. I just hope by the time we wipe ourselves out our weapons don't leave fallout to kill everything else.

"Humans are one of only nine species to pass the mirror test—which tests whether an animal recognizes its reflection as an image of itself—along with all the great apes (gorillas, chimpanzees, orangutans, bonobos), Bottlenose dolphins, Asian elephants, European Magpies and Orcas.[75] Most human children will pass the mirror test at 18 months old.[76] However, the usefulness of this test as a true test of consciousness has been disputed, and this may be a matter of degree rather than a sharp divide. Monkeys have been trained to apply abstract rules in tasks."
I wasn't totally talking shit...

The earth can recover from whatever we do to it. We would only be destroying ourselves. So why not keep going and see that that probably won't happen? Yeah, but that would take millenniums, and by that time Earth is already destroyed. Note: I've seen in a documentation that it's been predicted that the sun will "die" and thus blow up in a few thousand, at most a half million years. If that happens, all planets around the sun will collapse from the impact of the sun.

That's just silly. It's not that the animals can't realise they exist, it's that mirrors generally don't exist in nature. You've got your reflection in still water, and that's about it.

Not if we keep fucking it up like we are now We're going to, quite simply, ruin it permanently. As for what is going to happen, my guess is we ruin the environment, then get in a nuclear WWIII and turn the planet into a radioactive shell

Humanity is really the only hope of anything from Earth surviving that anyway, so that argument doesn't really hold water.

On that note, humanity might stop sucking if they figured out a way to keep stars from up and exploding.

You didn't knew it was you when you looked in the mirror either when you was little, did you? It's the same as this article I read today: When a crab protects another crab, it gets sex as thanks. OMFG humans don't do that! Does that mean we're stupid and don't thank other people correctly?!

Humanity is really the only hope of anything from Earth surviving that anyway, so that argument doesn't really hold water. True, but humanity is too stupid to realize that. They're all the same: they'll realize it when it's too late.

Why don't you guys divert all this energy from "Wishing the death of humanity" to "Trying to change Humanity"?
