Nop. Never got into Metroid. I did play the cousin's game boy of it briefly and thought it silly. I did play the start of prime on a gamecube demo disc and yeah that game is a weird FPS. With the bros so into shooters nowadays I asked why not get the metroids and they told me about weird stuff in the demo I forgot about, like the rolly ball pachinko BS. Doesn't look fun at all. DS demo didn't look fun either. If you wanna see Samus in a bikini you don't even have to play anymore you can just go on internet, so even that's gone.

It's the meandering, backtracking and too-hardness that turned me off it. If something's a shooter it's got to function as a shooter.
