That's because you can't log in, not having a 3DS/Wii U, and all the features that aren't just "get linked to a post" and "look at the popular stuff list" are hidden back there.

That said, the hell else is it supposed to look like? One person makes a post on a game's community page (like just doing #GameName, I figure) and maybe includes a hand drawn image/screenshot from the game, and then there are comments which also might include hand drawn images.
There's really not much room for innovation when it's such a simple format.

(also oldschool bbs did it first)
