Pulp Fiction was hilarious and amazing
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was amazing and hilarious
Inception was alright but not much more than a summer blockbuster, there are deeper movies that are less tryhard
Goodfellas is one of my favorite movies out there, it is the best of the genre
The Lord of the Rings is LotR, 'nuff said
Taxi Driver was alright
how the fuck have you not seen the greatest animated movie of all time? Go watch The Lion King now
Up was pixar, pixar is amazing, definitely worth watching
Gran Turino was alright if you like Clint Eastwood, otherwise, ehhhh
Batman Begins was good but not as good as The Dark Knight
Fargo is an awesome black comedy, great movie
Sin City was eh
No Country for Old Men was solid
can't remember if I've seen The Deer Hunter...
The King's Speech was great
Kill Bill is fun
I need to rewatch Donnie Darko, but the first time I saw it I was sleep deprived so it was weird as fuck, making it awesome
Finding Nemo was meh, imho
Rocky is fucking great, how have you not seen, at least, the first 4. The 5th was abysmal and the 6th was just okay, but still, 1 was great, 2 was great, 3 was fantastic, 4 was great, definitely need to see them
Star Trek is a tv series and fuck anything but the original series
the rest I either havent seen, dont remember, or have no real opinions on
as for recommendations, at least throw Soylent Green on there
edit: and Jaws was fine, wasn't great but it wasn't bad
I've seen it waaaayyyyyy too many times throughout my life though

Funny thing is I don't know how I'm meant to actually watch these movies. I can't download them from the internet because my net is slow. I can't get them from a video store because they closed down because everyone downloads movies now.

google -> find some way to watch online
with megavideo gone it's more of a hassle, and the quality wont match downloaded stuff, but for most movies I find it good enough

Hmm yeah I suppose streaming is quicker but my net still is so slow when Im streaming youporn youtube vids I gotta wait about half way loaded until I cal click play without it catching up to the loading line.

I open movies I plan to watch a few hours in advance, and usually try to queue up a bunch of youtube videos in different tabs to let them all load
do other stuff while it's loading, watch things later
although then when the fucking flash player plugin crashes you have to start all over again

I found a site I can stream. The file sizes are not bad either. I just watched Se7en which was over 2 hours and only 400MB. But the quality was still good.

bah, forgot to recommend Miyazaki films
while they're all amazing, should at least watch Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Howl's Moving Castle (and Laputa: Castle in the Sky....)
feel like that'd be a bare minimum and that they're all different enough that if you disliked one the others might still work (although I have no idea how anyone could dislike a Miyazaki film...)
and if you feel 3-4 are too many, at the absolute very least everyone should see Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke imho
