found out Rince has a 360 and MvC3 for it, might actually have someone to play the game with (as is I've been wanting to play more because watching tournaments for a game tends to do that)

Oh yeah and when I was at my UWE interview there were two interviewers, the main one brought up my total video views on Youtube (like 750,000) and the media technician was like whoa seriously
My brain was like yeah camera geek, you wish you had this swag :3

From what I gather, journalism is mostly pointless if you can't get people to pay attention to your content.
So with a fair number of youtube views, the school peeps are all like "daaaang this guy's good, we should totally let him study here".

Mmmm if it was his own stuff. But from what I've seen he's just taken a bunch of music or made vids from games. Taking other peoples stuff is frowned upon in journalism.

You're taking this too seriously, I meant it on a personal level, which is to say I bet the main interviewer was thinking 'oh that's pretty neat' whereas the geeky technician was thinking 'god damn I wish I had that many views'. I just thought it demonstrated a fair understanding of media practice and editing, which it does, I wasn't saying they should take me just on the strength of that, and yeah lots of my videos are other people's soundtracks but my most viewed I made myself so there. And besides, knowing what soundtracks people will want to hear means I understand the market  And Zetta, UWE is okay, not the best but okay. I don't know what I want to do next year, really. |
