Maybe a bit got ripped off the label while it was being pressed. Maybe a bit of paper snuck in from a recycled record. Maybe it was a piece of debris that got into the press between records. The better question is, how did they miss that during quality checking? Why didn't they just send it back to be recycled?

Fortunately, the shop I picked it up from took it back and gave me another copy. A good copy.
