Depends on the kind of 'complete', here. Like, in Super Mario 64, you only need so many stars to reach Bowser. But every star is its own little challenge to run, it isn't just a "go here, stomp 1000 goombas, get an achievement" deal. It's actually fun to pick up all the stars.

And that's actually the big difference with Mario 64 and many other complementation games. Getting all stars in Mario 64 is fun and challenging, but in many complementation game it's just "get all these items/lores" or "complete these simple but long challenges". And the worst is, many people prefer and enjoy the latter.

Weak twoparter IMO >_>
Though we all know that it's more the fandom around the show which self perpetuates than the show itself that bronies like. I imagine if the show had never got a second series the fandom would have been stronger than it will be when the subsequent series fail to live up to the hype that the first one never did in the first place.

However, I liked the replacement of the picture of the mane six fighting Luna (who has now come back into favor with the Party) with fighting the new enemy of the people, Discord. Equestria has always stood with our friends in Eastasia against the dogs of Oceania...

Jeez, seems like this guy has some real character depth. Just might watch a few episodes of the second season.... I dunno if you're being sarcastic but no, he doesn't really, and Celestia isn't really a 1984 esque dictator (though there is some evidence in the show: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPeWXizmYfwwww.youtube.com/watch?v=Hn7-kn4QyMUwe're meant to believe these two are being melodramatic but after seeing what she did to her own sister who knows) Hey wait, she banished her own sister? That's classic insane monarchism! The evidence piles up against El Celestia's tyrannical regime! Erm, anyway, yeah, Discord is just a generic Joker archetype villain with a good sense of humor but no other real characteristics, thats why we have to make it up.
