You put a name or something into Google (or your preferred search engine) and check the results for relevant data. You could have found out who John de Lancie is without asking me here in the topic.

A couple of my friends are at Horsefuckercon right now actually. I find it funny that the one who also liked Star Trek wanted to meet him because of his role as Q and yet doesn't believe me when I try to remind him all the times he ranted about what a horrible character he was before he started watching Barn Porn.

Well, sorry. I don't like explaining some questions that make me look too nerdy, when I think that it should have been an obvious reference to anyone who's nerdy enough to be using a computer to post on an Internet message board.
So he played this character in Star Trek: The Next Generation. In fact, the whole pilot episode centers around Enterprise encountering him.
Also I stopped summarizing stories properly when I dropped out of school 12 years ago. Now I can barely deliver a multi-line joke within minutes of reading it repeatedly.

Well I would ask if thats the Star Trek where the wheel chair guy from Xmen is the Captain or the one with the chick is the captain but never mind lol.
Also there are 1000's of message boards on the net where people who are not nerds post about non-nerdy stuff using their computers, from fashion to babies to music to fuzzy kitties and anything else.

You have a point, Pyro, but you don't ask something you can easily look up for the sake of conversation. Maybe you could have, and then said "isn't he that godly alien dude from Star Trek", but that's besides the point. Conversations just happen.

Ok. From now on when I see anyone asking a question on here I'll tell them to STFU and google it.

What no. It's a joke.
If I was trying to prove a point it would be that asking the question has created far more posts than if I'd just googled it and said nothing. But Im not. Im just messing with the mod functions for the lulz.
